Independent Power is a New Jersey-licensed electrical contractor specializing in solar energy and battery storage systems. Founded by Caden Mulligan in 2018, we’ve worked through megawatts of installed capacity serving our clients through consulting engagements, inspections, diagnostics, and O&M.

Caden volunteers as a Subject Matter Expert for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), contributing to the PV Installation Professional exam. We’ve also done pro-bono work helping small urban farms in the region use solar for their on-site energy needs.
